Professor Antoni Kaczmarek

Antoni Kaczmarek (born 1923). Since 1951 assistant substitute in the Chair of Special Animal Breeding at Poznań University (headed by prof. Tadeusz Vetulani). Prepare his master dissertation under direction of prof Vetulani(Danish red dairy cattle in Wielkopolska region / Duńskie czerwone bydło mleczne w Wielkopolsce). Since 1982 to 1991 head of the Chair of Cattle Breeding. Also, in 1982-1991, head of the Department (pol. Zakład) of Horse Breeding at the academy of Agriculture in Poznań (now Poznań University of Life Sciences). Known for his works in animal immunology and cattle breeding. (compiled by Z. Vetulani).
